Callie Chapman is a dancemaker, projection designer, and systems integrator whose work explores the meeting point of movement, media, and spatial perception. Based in Greater Boston, she creates performance environments where choreography, technology, and audience experience intersect. Alongside her choreographic work, Chapman designs projection and media systems for performance. Her design work has been presented with organizations including Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Odyssey Opera, Harvard’s Theater, Dance & Media program, and American Repertory Theater/Company One. Chapman also develops space and infrastructure for artists. She founded Studio @ 550 and currently serves as Art Space Coordinator for the Somerville Arts Council, working to expand sustainable space for dance and interdisciplinary performance. Across these roles, she builds environments where movement, technology, and audience attention collide.

Christopher Konopka is an experimental technologist and video artist with extensive experience integrating live video, interactive systems, and generative media across performance, installation, and live-stream contexts. Since receiving his BFA in Electronic Production & Design and Jazz Composition from Berklee College of Music (2015), he has created installations for venues including the Boston Children’s Museum, Coventry Cathedral, and the CICA Museum in Seoul, and designed live visuals for performances in Boston, New York City, and internationally. His work emphasizes real-time media manipulation, improvisational responsiveness, and the multi-modal integration of sound, movement, and video. In performance contexts, he develops workflows that move from conceptual sketching to live enactment, ensuring technological tools serve creative intention rather than dominate it. Konopka has also led workshops at institutions including Brown University, MIT, NYU, and MASS MoCA, as well as for companies such as T-Mobile, Twilio, and Hyundai affiliates. These sessions focus on analog video synthesis, IoT prototyping, and experimental control systems. Through both artistic practice and education, he explores new approaches to performance technology and collaborative media creation.
Caitlin Canty is a dancer, educator, and producer living in Somerville, MA. As the director of Eventual Dance Company, her work has been presented at venues across Massachusetts, including Cambridge Community Television, The Dance Complex, The Foundry, The School for Contemporary Dance and Thought, Center for the Arts at the Armory, and Jacob’s Pillow. Caitlin is the co-program lead, alongside Amelia Rose Estrada, for Rough Drafts – a choreographic professional development lab and teaching residency facilitated by MIDDAY Movement Series. She has had the pleasure of dancing for Zoe Dance, Anna Therése Wittenberg, Daniel McCusker, Molly Rose-Williams, Human Movement Projects, Jenna Pollack and Projects, Ruckus Dance, Grant Jacoby and Dancers, and others. Caitlin teaches an open contemporary class every Thursday at The Hive in Somerville, and occasionally she teaches for MIDDAY Movement Series and at the West Concord Dance Academy in Concord, MA.
Cassie Wang is a Cambridge-based performer and interdisciplinary dancemaker. Her work lives on a spectrum between the hyperliteral and the poetic; each project becomes a lens to interrogate relationality and her sense of self. She’s inspired by chance existential intimacy and her research centers on longing as both subject and method. Cassie is a movement researcher with Partnering Lab and a principal dancer with KAIROS Dance Theater. Other recent performance credits include work with the Boston Lyric Opera, the Slutcracker, Emmanuel Music, Shura Baryshnikov, and Ilya Vidrin. Cassie was a 2025 danceWEB Scholar at ImPulsTanz, a 2024–25 Next Steps for Boston Dance grantee, and has received the Dancemakers and Dance Lab Residencies at Boston Center for the Arts. Her work has been in residence at Bearnstow and Jacob’s Pillow and presented by Motion State Arts, Asian American Ballet Project, Resilience Dance Company, and MIDDAY Movement. Cassie worked as a teaching assistant in Dance at Harvard University and earned a BA from Pomona College in Computer Science with minors in Dance and Media Studies. Cassie believes in the universe and the inextricable intertwinement of creative process and life. She misses the wide sky she grew up with in Kansas, and the frozen custard. Keep up with her at @cass_creating/www.cassiewang.com.
